Just got this DVD, havent had time to watch it. Does anyone have anything to say-pro or con , about this film?

On a related topic, the DVD cover has a few pics and the film looks to have some sweet fedoras in it. I would think the clothing would be good also.

I can't say anything pro or con about this film because I haven't seen it (hope to do it one day) but King Vidor it's director, wrote about it that he wanted to show that the early 1930s was a period of real crisis in the United States, with unemployment and depression, and he wanted to put all this unrest and tragedy into a film. "Our Daily Bread" does just that; it presents the lives of the average man and woman during those years.
