I was watching Only Angels Have Wings

I saw this years ago, but recently found it in a department store for only $8!

Anyway - how sweet is Jean's hair?? How would one get this look?

It looks like it could stand up to some adventuring. Elegant, bouncy, and not a little bit tough.

Jean's do is sweet, but so was the rest of her. She was the Total Package. (The fact that IRL she loved her privacy and her cats only endears her more to me.)

Semi-off-topic: I saw Jean Arthur and Boris Karloff in Peter Pan on Broadway in 1950. Gulp. I only vaguely remember it, but I do recall how odd I thought the whole thing was, all those people acting out a story way down there on the stage (my grandma and I were I the balcony).
Anyway, I love everything about Jean Arthur, her hair, her voice, classy dame.
