"Fight Club" Jacket by Jonathan Logan ?

Hi,

I have always liked the iconic Tyler Durden Red leather jacket in the movie "Fight Club"

I will be in LA later this summer abd I have been contemplating stoppoing by a Jonathan Logan' s atelier to pick one up.

However since these are quite pricy ($1600) I would like some opinions on the quality of the piece.

Replicas may not be as durable as the jackets of the makers usually featured on this site. Johnson Leathers could probably make you a replica that would last a very long time. You might want to go for a Cordovan or cherry shade over red - if you opt for russet, off-white stitching will definitely work well (pic 1). Aero's Maxwell style might give you some ideas. I have one in cordovan (the red-purple below). The problem with a bright red 'Fight Club' jacket is that it can't really be worn without looking like costume, but each to his own...
