Also, poor fit doesn't necessarily speak to quality. May just be the wrong size, or a last that doesn't go very well with your foot shape.

This genuinely just feels like the last didn't work for this guy's foot. And the quality doesn't look poor to me at all. They're not even that cheap; comparably priced to Lewis Leather's Mechanic which is their Engineer. That money in the east goes further.

It’s not the last at all. You’d have to see them in person, try them on, etc. They are extremely cheap materials. Looks decent in a photo though. Try em out, maybe it’ll be better for you.

A policy I have now adapted, Except, not even from a middle man. Live and learn. Picked up a pair of new Wesco collab brown rough out engineers. No wait time. These will last the rest of my life. I'll be doing a burn test and cutting these open. You tube.

Anyone have a leather jacket from this company... the photos and the prices look really nice..

Crush on Retro doesn't make jackets, they just resell them. Same as Tailor Brando, TaoBao, AliExpress, etc.. You need to ask about specific models or jacket makers (VELUOKLDLY, Simons, etc..) to get info about actual jackets. But this thread is a good place to ask about CoR customer service, which is what makes ordering from them as opposed to other resellers attractive.

Crush on Retro Engineer Boots. Messaged with Bryce a bunch about sizing. Delivered 32 days after ordered. Not bad. The box seemed too light to contain boots. Upon opening the box, the stench of glue was overwhelming. The boots were packed well. Seeing them after unwrapping was disappointing. My girlfriend asked if I got a new pair of rain boots. The material is more like pleather than anything. Very thin. The buckles are cheap. Trying them on was difficult. The size was correct but they were way too difficult to get on. I realized the toe box was way too tight and a severe pinching on the insoles. I got them on and walked 4ft and back. There was a 3-4” heel lift on top of the pain from the pinch points. Unwearable. Yes, I adjusted the straps. I’ve worn engineer boots for 35 years. I emailed to return. Bryce asked for pictures. I sent them. He said they couldn’t resell because of the creases and that I should sell them to someone else. I replied it wasn’t my concern what he did with them but the creases shouldn’t be there after walking indoors for 8ft. He said that was an irresponsible comment and no refund. After researching more I found out the boots were made in China. Drop shipped by COR who are in Indonesia apparently. I know, I know, I gambled and lost. Wish I bought locally or used quality at least. Even my Carolinas lasted me 15 years.

Sorry to hear about this. Will be sure not to buy from them.
