How about radio shows that became television shows?
The Guiding Light was a radio show originally but I don't watch it.
The Jack Benny radio show was great and the cast of characters continued to the T.V. show. George Burns and Gracie Allen were fun on the radio and television. One that people might not know as radio or television was "Boston Blackie". Good radio, movies and television show, I never read the stories.
By the way, a lot of the scripts for "I Love Lucy" were based on her radio show: "My Favorite Husband".
