This one was gifted to me by the Pied Hatter Garrett who feels everyone needs a fuzzy white hat. Bob calls it the Polar Bear and gave it the Garrett Wonderlux treatment

I studied the high quality of Bobs work marveling at Mikes 2 hats he wore on the visit.
I already had a custom by Bob & was pleased enough with my tall crown Heather felt posted somewhere in this thread.
Mike brought 2 of my hats to bob for refurb & cleaning & ive had em a while but it was too hot to use em until now.......

A special Stetson Stratoliner it has little squares in the ribbon & brim binding
I posted up a lengthy thread somewhere in the Stratoliner Society ? thread....on this when I found it

it was pretty nasty prior now its just PRETTY !

all the original parts are there, with a deep diamond crease

This next hat was a Royal Stetson in bad shape crumpled , filthy, dry crumbling sweat, gross liner
Bob cleaned it up & gave it the Wonderlux treatment

its a rare green/brown color that changes dramatically in different light
with a old school Coke bottle green ribbon, I could not get the true magic of the colors in my pics....

Bob hand washed the faded ribbon & flipped it inside out where the original unfaded color was hiding

he wanted to Wonderlux the interior, But in not into liners be it fancy with all the dodads
All the custom hatters ive done Business with know im basic with hat interiors & don't like liners......
but Bob did make it Pretty inside & I like ! I like it a lot !

as the weather cools down I will be enjoying these 2 hats
