Avalon (1990)

I have yet to catch this one from start to finish, but Tivo nabbed Avalon for me last week.
The sets , costumes and makeup all seem quite authentic and carefully created. The hats are super, as well as the many, many cars.
It's the story of a jewish family in America. Very well done and worth a look.

 

[Doctor Strange]

It's a great little flick - my favorite Barry Levinson film by a wide margin. It captures the changes from an immigrant generation to their kids and grandkids very well. Great costumes, sets, photography, too.
