My wife and I have talked about wearing some period clothing when we go on tours in our Model T. I have a Bowler and a long Duster, however I thought I would like to have something a little more Spring/Summer looking.
I have a couple of Seersuckers, but I keep going back to the image of a man in a Boater, white trousers, and a bold striped sport coat. The only thing I find close is the Barbershop Quartet look, not exactly, but it is close to what I have in mind. So what I am asking is what might the man in the 20's have worn on a Sunday drive in the summer and not look like this:
I thought surely that there are some experts here. Any help would be much appreciated.
