Patent date ≠ when the suit was made.
Honestly I can't really tell. Maybe later in the 20s to around 1930?

Possible. Whenever it was made, it's nice. Love that stripe through it.

the trouser hems are a very narrow 6.5" which -if correct- would suggest early 20s.

the jacket looks quite wide around the middle and the trousers are a 36... a semi-stout size ?

I would love for that suit to not have a size 36 waist...time to pack on 5 inches on the waist!
