It’s 80-degrees so I’m wearing this Texas Hats “The Ponca City” straw. Had to reshape the cattleman crease a bit to clear my Frankenstein head.

Had my weekend plans change... some family driving up from Houston to meet Mr Bear... so I had to cancel the plan to take him and hangout with my friends at their antique sign shop saturday ( the were best friends with Moose and always have donut holes for peoples animals) SO we changed plans and loaded up Mr Bear and went to a meet and greet today. He met a bunch of new folks , got a bunch of head scratches and was perfectly behaved, and got to see a couple new places.
Anyway I had some comments on the Green Hemp Open Road at coffee, so I threw it back up top again. After the antique run, I went over to a really good bbq place and picked up a family meal for tomorrow. The lady carving my brisket commented on the hat.. When I asked if she had any trimmings I could give my Labrador puppy, she asked what he was and said sure. When she heard he was a White Lab her eyes got big and said "those are not real common... is he with you, can I meet him?" Why not...... Doggo rally reacted to the smell of the meats and got some more head scratching.. then we went home and had some brisket.
Just as a side to side comparison, here's the new rehabbed Sage Green Hemp OR with Green ribbon, and my old Sage Green Hemp Stratoliner with brown ribbon... ( the Stratoliner has a fair bit of wear and has faded nicely) I really like the Stetson Hemps... nice rugged, cool hats
