Lee All American (buckskin). This is another Hirsch's fedora.

A Belamey. I took a chance on this one., and I'm glad I did. The light felt on this well made hat is outstanding with a very soft hand. It's nice that the owner sewn in their initials instead of writing then in.

I would show the interior but there's nothing to see - I had to replace both the sweat and the liner. Someone loved this hat and wore the heck out it.

Another vintage score I am very pleased with. Although certainly not as old as some other recent acquisitions, the specifics of this one make it especially happy-making for me.

Here's what I know about the hat, from my seller by way of the original owner's son who gifted it to him years ago: in September of 1964, it was purchased as a dress hat by Sgt. Jack Morrison, a Texas Ranger who spent his entire career stationed in Brownsville TX.

Price was eminently reasonable, and the Shudde box (nearly as collectible as the hats) is in outstanding condition. My seller is continuing to look through memorabilia Jack Jr. gave him, to see if there's any paperwork still extant that pertains to the hat.
