Another day in the 3x OR, this time we went to the aquarium.

Later we stopped by the Eclipse Hat Shop by Pikes Market, it was a nice little shop with your standard Stetsons, Borsalinos, and I saw some Mayser straws too. The shop owner was very impressed by my OR and complimented the crease I put in it. She showed me the newest 6X 160th anniversary Stetsonian, which has an open crown. I'm kinda surprised it's not a Royal Deluxe but it seems to still be a decent if not slightly heavy hat.

During this mornings dog soirée I was wearing a Stetson Whippet.

I enjoyed a cold brew coffee treat wearing a Deluxe Stetson Flagship fedora.

I started some yard chores in a VS Wanderer (inspired by the Stetson of said name). Artlite Dove beaver felt has intriguing pearlescence hues in the overcast early morning light.

Put on one of my favorite 3x Beaver Stetsons this morning... Lovely Long oval that just floats perfectly into place on the head. Other than the stetson 3x embossing on the sweatband, the liner logo, and the size tag there are no tags or markngs inside... So Im not really sure what it is. Maybe its been rehabbed before?... maybe its a store hat that was ordered with minimal markings? To me its reminiscent of the older taller Stratoliners. Felt is beautifully soft and hat was in really nice shape when I got it... One of my favorite mystery hats. The felt color IS actually a slight tannish color like the first two pictures ( get it in a shady spot it falsely has a grey tint) . One of my greatest Ebay victories..... (other than brushing off some dust, Ive never cleaned this one or had to do any shaping... this is just the way it came!

Just finished this late 40s Adam DeLuxe last night. Used the original black ribbon as a contrast to this vintage ribbon I’ve been holding onto for such a fedora as this.
Built a dog eared pleated bow with cross hatch thread on the last pleat.
She’ll be hanging on my “favorite” nail!
One I’ve blocked up from 7 1/8 to 7 3/8 and it still retains its original proportions with its silver bound 2 7/8” brim. Up brim or down I love it!

The Sunday hats got delayed to Monday. First Sunday of August is the day of the Deventer Bookmarket (biggest in Europe), so that kept me occupied yesterday. But here are the hats of last week.

A day late but surely not a hat short. I’m going with ALL the homburgs this week!
