Very cool two-tone Brooks. Tag size 40. Pit to pit is 20" so fits more like a 38.

vintage jacket that the seller claims is a cal but I don't see any photos of tags. He says the tag size is 42L, looks to fit more or less TTS. Kind of hard to tell from the photos but zips look like conmar.

BIN $300 - quite a deal!

That is a Cal, though more of a 40 in modern sizing I would say. It’s an inch longer than a 42R I briefly owned so seller may be right about it being tagged 42L.

Snagged this size 44 schott 115 from the bay, great shape, gave it a clean inside and out and leaving outside to air and dry.i now have the brown size 46 to layer with and this is my tee-shirt wearer ,just need to get the collars to fit them and I'm sorted. So much for one in one out :)

Fits like a Schott 44" , as I tried it on and it fit me fine.
I am 44" in a Schott 100% off the rack jacket.
Don't ask me all that "pit to pit" *******s, nor them either at that price
On sale at $550 AUD. That's $360 USD. Quite a bargain
A family run business over 2 generations. They do all sorts of leather, seats , boat trims etc etc.
I was in having a new size 10 YKK zipper to replace a size 8 RIRI with frayed zipper tape
A job done well at a cost of $180AUD ( $120 USD)

Now that's PERSISELY why I copied you into it first. Head of the Q and all that !

I am sure Big Ton could carry that off after all those winged collar adventures ?

Harley is having a 20% off on some of their museum clothing line. Nice time to get that white and black classic sweater?

I got my sweater. It is not a bad representation of the original. The materials are good for the price. HOWEVER, the quality control of the garment is terrible. I got mine and has some terrible stains. The stains look like oily/soil fingerprints. Lastly, the wool had three pulls on the back of the sweater. Sad really because I'm really hoping HD stays in business. Lastly, their customer service reps rude and untrained.

Sounds like an item to be returned, with no regrets.

Dehen makes these replicas for the museum shop and surprising that the quality wasn't perfect. I'm pretty sure the higher priced items from the museum shop like race sweater replics get pulled from display to ship- maybe the sweater you received had been handled by the masses touring the museum.
