How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I feel like one of the most important signs of maturity in this stuff that we all end up realizing at some point having worn a ton is that we don't have a "magic" measurement for chest/hem/length, because different jacket types will demand a different setup. Of course it follows some expensive mistakes…

Which hides are these?

It does indeed. I've made too many mistakes with custom jackets.

It's mid brown Shinki horsehide and the fur panels are natural off white cowhide panels I supplied myself because I didn't want any brown speckles in the cow fur.

Should fit well. I had Himel make it very short like my J22, though not quite as tapered due to the different style of jacket.

I’ve recently posted a few items to classifieds and have some others coming in.

Vanson has had the cognac Badalassi and Sevenberry lining in hand for nearing a month, so my special order no-back seam 1” shorter sleeves C2 should be complete in another month or two. Really undecided if i should make the first run in black or cognac but have some time to decide. If enough interest I’ll do both.

Last time I posted regarding the C2, the seam/no-seam convo kinda went wild. I asked Kim about it. She said for their purposes it’s about fitting the 3D shape of the spine. Without the seam there will be a little less space in the upper body area. That’s fine for me as I already found the sized-down 38 quite roomy up top, and I won’t be riding motorcycles any time soon. I suspect the same will be true for anyone not planning to ride.

Thanks! I'm not sure. I wouldn't expect that as the hair has been treated. It could still happen though.

The beat up Vanson Swedish Dispatch I snagged from the bay should be in on Friday, to round out my little collection.
The Tan Vanson needs me to lose some weight to fit into, the black HG fits great and this incoming one is a about a size and a half too big, but I’m betting it will work out just fine with the waist cinching, and that these are designed to fit like a potato sack with sleeves.

It looks fine from 20 feet away, but it looks like the previous owner had a little get off at some point.

It came!
The bad first, the wool liner is in rough shape, there are both more, and larger, holes that didn’t make it into the photos.

but that aside it’s GREEN!

The ad didn’t mention color and I thought it was a black jacket taken in weird garage lighting conditions, or that it might be grey… but no, it’s GREEN.

I love it! Patch the lining and ignore the dings, and later I’ll send it to Vanson for a spa treatment, but it’s very wearable as is, and WOW, am I thrilled with the color!

It’s hard to capture, I had to sneak a black highwayman in there for contrast, but with the blue chair and the black jacket you can see it’s a dark almost but not quite olive green.

Been away on vacation for a little while so wasn't so active on TFL as of late. Managed to grab my new Lee 101J and am really happy with it.
The 5oz leather is thick and really dig the copper buttons - nice and sturdy.
Gonna take some time to break this in, still fighting against me to hold its shape.
