Oh totally, I was thinking like for like when it comes to the cloth on jeans vs jackets - the IH jacket is canvas? Even a slower fade in that case.

My OG Bros 15 came today. I like it a lot. Didn't have a burgundy in my collection.
It is a hand dyed, veg tan horsehide with an uneven finish. The pics definitely emphasize the tone differences, but it's still slightly noticeable in person.
Very soft and plush feel and quite nice workmanship. The grain is subtle but also not too smooth. These are made by Y2 under spec for OG bros in limited reservation runs. I've always liked the y2 workmanship but questioned some of their stylistic or patterning choices, so I feel like OG giving them styling input is kind of the best of both worlds.
Fit is good. I thought it looked quite small when I opened it, but it worked out fine on the body. It does have that 'smuggling wallets in your armpit' feelin you get with the a2 pattern sometimes but not too bad.

I popped for Y’2’s type 3. I’ve wanted this jacket for quite some time. The type 2 fit well:
I didn’t care for the accordion front so I’m hoping the type 3 will fit my style a bit better. I’m not even into type 3’s anymore but I just couldn’t lay off.

Another IH vest. This time the 17oz brown duck canvas. Really nice. Big fan of their vests (own four and still on the lookout for more). Their black heavy denim CR my favorite cafe jacket.

Well I submitted an offer on this then went to sleep, and the seller accepted.
I just scored this woolrich reversible ( I'm guessing 80's ) for $52 shipped.
I could be wrong on the age, but I believe they'd be using YKK by the 90's.

I thought Dickies sized up larger and the measurements given on this Small looked ok, but good grief there's a massive taper on the body. From 22" P2P down to 18" waist.
And the sleeves are comically short.

Thanks, Terry! I missed out on that Albert Richard wool half belt on YAJ this past weekend (and the wool atomic jacket from the same seller), so I had some funds available and decided to pull the trigger on the vest. I really like the arced button closure on this one.

The woolrich I bought on Ebay was supposed to arrive today, but was somehow delivered to a post office 2 hours away from me and now I don't know what's going to happen.
I just hope I get it by this weekend because it looks like It might actually get cool enough to need a jacket, of course that is assuming something worse doesn't happen and I do actually get the jacket.

Careful, could be a ****. No jacket, just some fake empty package. The ****mer in those types of ****s claims it was delivered, so there is little recourse. Call ebay, claim ****.

The seller has been on Ebay since 2014, has tons of clothing items listed and 99% positive feedback, so I don't think so but you never know.
I think USPS just kind of messed up a bit, but it seems to be back on track and I'll probably have it tomorrow.

I just got the jacket in and it feels as stout and substantial as I expected.
Anybody recognized this talon zipper ?
It's looking like the weather isn't going to cool down any time soon, but since this jacket is fully reversible and the orange side isn't wool I can wear it with a T shirt.
When I take pepper for a walk around 6:30-7:am on the days I'm not working it's cool enough to need a jacket, and I can wear this one for that even if it is still a bit too much for that.
At least I can try it out a little.
