Brilliantly understated piece. On the one hand it doesn’t look fancy in any way, on the other hand it’s just perfect.

It is fairly thin, so it works really well here. It’s definitely not fancy, but I haven’t found a “beater” this nice either.

The zippers on the sleeves are placed along the side seam- I haven’t experienced this before, but I like it. They stay out of the way, unlike when they are on the top or bottom of the sleeve.

It has presence, for lack of a better word. It’s just there. And looks completely natural. Sometimes you see jackets or outfits that look forced or like a costume. This is the opposite of that.

Yeah as much as I “swore off repros” the wool Aero ignited the itch and I’m trying to take my time (for once) and decide between a sea biscuit in green Kelpie, a a primer 30’s HB in battered seal, or an OG Herc with the belts where they should be in some form of black, probably jerky.
