How to remove engineer boots from feet?

Just curious about how the members here take this boot off?

Haven't worn engineer boots in years, but I believe the way I did it was to sit down, cross one leg over and pull the boot off. Today I would use my boot jack to remove them while standing and have them off in a flash.

I use an inexpensive boot jack. Works well and if you are gentle does not harm the boot.

I’m gonna have to look at a video of that boot jack. Never heard of it. As for myself, 1 foot at a Time.

I would say yes to the sitdown method 30 years ago. Nowadays getting into that position is problematic and getting out of it even harder.

I find getting them on to be difficult, I've nearly burst my eyeballs straining.
