Herm's Togs are pretty rare, and rarer still in white. Wow, so many rarities showing up lately.

I'm new to this game, but this Flat Head seems like a steal if it doesn't get bid up.

I wanted so bad for this to be my first leather, but I'm looking for a contemporary fit and 57 cm length on a 6 ft frame sounds anything but that. Could be a great deal for someone looking for a shorter length though:

Could you share the link for this jacket?? If you previously posted it let me know. I seem to have missed it. The cuffs look like a jacket I have that is also unlabeled and I wanted to look it over for other clues and similarities.

I wonder why. It’s a longer than usual LAPD at a fair price.

It could just be my eyes or my monitor---but this Cal appears to have some odd ball over-stitching on the kidney panel and possibly elsewhere on the jacket. Really strange if it isn't an illusion. I haven't ever seen anything like it. It appears that someone had the idea to go over the existing stitches with what looks like a purplish colored thread. Possibly it is actual re-stitching of an area where the stitching came undone but it looks odd either way. A black Cal with janky purple stitching is weird.

I could be way off base here. But I think the weird stitching is the reason it is BOTH a fair price AND still available. I think one could just carefully fabric dye the thread and return it to almost normal.

Does anyone else see what I'm seeing???
