Two things i have learnt, when Stuart says "very heavy" he means it, also he is a wizard as far as sizing goes.
I was worried about bottom hem diameter and sleeve length, he nailed it.

This is a beauty, Carlos! Glad that you chose the Crown zippers. You nailed the fit! IMO this is the most beautiful LW leather jacket. Seems to be 4.5oz...****** proof! Congrats!

My 42 Suburban weights 7.3 lbs, J23 8.2 lbs without fur collar, Aero 8.2 lbs.
With all extra leather and belt only weights 7.56 lbs, it doesn't sounds like 5 oz, of course Stuart always exaggerate how heavy his hide is.

Thanks, yep i am very happy with it.
Can't really say much about how it "feels", i have worn it an hour and it still feels very very stiff.
Will post a review in a couple weeks once it is broken in and i have lived with it a bit more.
But first impressions are good, it has roomy shoulders, very well designed/comfortable pits that are very high but not tight even when reaching forward, no binding/restriction in the biceps either which is a common thing.
It is definitely a great pattern, it feels like once broken in it will be up there with my Columbia as far as comfort goes.
One thing i really like is the deerskin lining in the wrists, it feels really nice.

Edit: and although i don't think it's mentioned on the website, this jacket has a cotton interliner and is actually quite warm.

What size is it? It looks ok to me it's just that Indy jackets are usually worn two or three sizes too large and often look like a sack of ****. I also have a goat one as a 42T - it's a bit floppy but I recently wore it as a travel jacket in coldish Tasmania and it really did the job well. I often thought of getting a trim one more like yours.

So, first off, GB jackets are cut large, also, they are cut very ergonomically, I rated GB as among the top three most scientifically designed patterns (Langlitz, Vanson, GB), so, I wasn't afraid to try a 38, considering I have a GB civil A2 in 38 cowhide that is like a second skin. My current size is 44, sometimes 46, for Aero and whatnot, but for GB flight jackets, I do 40 or 42 (already baggy). So I picked up this 38T, using the T to compensate for the loss of sleeve length with moving around and it is perfect. The 38T is comfy, tight at the front upper chest zipped but the feeling is pretty much on par as a 1930s HB from Aero (and that's how it's meant to fit). I also had the option to buy the 42 Short, which fit like an actual movie jacket, over sized shoulder, which compensate for the shortened sleeve, but i chose the slim 38T instead. Well, I may ring them up and buy the 42 Short also, just to complete the GB Indy obsession.....

Well yes and no. It's slimmer than the suburban, but i would not call it slimmer than the J-23/24.
This one was tapered down a little at the waist, and it is still a bit baggier than the J-23.
When you look at it it has a weird hourglass Shape where the tightest point seem to be the pits.
It has wide shoulders, the pits go in, and and then it somewhat tapers out a bit as it goes down.
Similar to my Freewheelers LaBrea (also a leathertogs copy) and somewhat more common in Japanese brands i think
It's a weird shape, but it works.

The J-24 on the other hand is a classic V shape.

So many MC jackets look skin-tight and too short IMO or appear very uncomfortable to wear. This one looks spot on and just perfect! Congrats @Carlos
