Leather and heavy jacket days seem to be limited. Tomorrow officially kicks off the type III (non Sherpa lined) season and temps appear to be near 50 for the next week. That marks the beginning of the end for this type of gear.

That is an incredibly cool jacket. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in the wild. Fit is perfect!

Seriously, such a nice jacket! I totally share your sentiments re weight. Was expecting something much heavier, but this is surprise, not disappointment.

Exactly! I am a big fan of my heavy leather jackets and I take a perverse pleasure in wearing something so heavy and substantial. Having said that, it’s a great feeling to throw on a jacket that feels every bit as substantial and yet is light and easy to wear.

Sorry for the ****py pics just snapped them really quick on the way out. This is the jacket I posted about last night. Found it buried in a closet at my fiancé’s parents house. No one remembers where it came from, so now it’s mine. Couldn’t ask for anything more for pulling it out a closet. Substantial Leather, warm zip-in liner, large solid zips, fits almost to a t.
