We didn't really notice it on our side of the country. After brexit, I think the folks on the west coast will have to send that sand back to Norfolk

A bit of a rare duck... a longhair beaver fur fedora - likely 1920s, perhaps earlier. Beavers were in very short supply during these times and their pelts were much more expensive to source than hair, coney or nutria. Union made, no other manufacturer identity is present - nor have I found much information on Bancroft or Donath Acker.

Thank you! Yes, those are Emmys. I wish I could take credit for them, but I can not they belong to my wife. She is a TV news journalist and won them for some of the stories she had covered.

It was too silver, so I used Rit dye to gray it up some. Had to do some repair whip stitching on the 75 year old sweat. My new favored fedora.
