Reg, to me that whole pattern looks feminine, not only because of zipper.
Looks like a bloke from 30s-40s had to put on a coat of his girlfriend for some reason))

Vintage Tauber's Cafe Racer with the earlier Horsehide label and padded elbows...a bit beat around the edges but still lots of life left. Kind of like me!

The princess seam down the front on this jacket actually can pass as for men, they star quite low. Importantly, it doesn’t have any visible dark on the bust. Otherwise it has an hourglass shape that a mid length halfbelt should have.

Ingredients for success: Money, Time, Desire, then repeat...at some point you do grow something.

Several of the Horsehide shirts were available on ebay recently. I may have seen another of the Taubers Half-belts in goathide.

I'm down about 45 lbs so far. More than half of my leather jacket collection is going to end up in the classifieds at some point as they just aren't wearable after dropping that much. The slimmer fitting ones still work though. Still, it's worth it for the health benefits.

Today....i’ve been wearing this one quite often. Fleecy, fuzzy, warm on the neck, no brainer. I’m not sure of it’s vintage as i’ve not been able to date the Talon zip.
I do love this jacket. You won’t find this at the mall.
