If our night out tonight at Fort Lauderdale’s Parker Playhouse to see Trisha Yearwood perform wasn’t the perfect opportunity for an Homburg... then I don’t know what is.

The Parker Playhouse is a beautiful 60’s era theater and it was a perfect compliment to Trisha’s amazing voice. She gave one hell of a performance even though she was a bit under the weather.

The theater is currently undergoing a renovation and the renderings look beautiful.

The M1917 bayonet came from me. That reduced my collection down to 310 US military edged weapons.

Sunny and cold day

Yesterday I showed an Italian heather felt, so I decided to continue with the proposal of "special" felts, no longer produced by the hat industry

Flechet (French made) size 59 or 7 3/8 US, new, finished at eighty percent, lining and paper label missing. Everything else is in its place, even the stamps on the sweatband
where it was to be sold, in this case Berlin

The felt is soft and very malleable as befits a "heather". The ribbon is in harmony with the deep gray color with light gray shades

It is part of a lot bought last year in France that I will show you these days
