Well....... my new Gannon has arrived. I'd love to post some pics but it keeps coming up "the file is too large to process". Have no idea why as this has NEVER happened before now. And as I go back thru some older photos, most of them now get the same response. Guess y'all just gonna have take my word for it, that my new Gannon is "beee-uu-teeeee-ful!"

Greetings All:
Today...it’s a big changeup for me. I just don’t have the stones to wear a big hat very well. This one i’m calling my Yahoody...because it reminds me of his. Doc Max alerted me to this and i bined it quick as i could.
Dobbs Twenty-Five Rancher. This is one fine hat. The felt is nicer than any No.1s i have and right there with a Churchill 50 except much less stiff.
Dobbs really made a hell of a Western with this one. Original box, quite the virgin. Don’t have the heart to crease it...yet!!

Magnificent, Bowen. Pretty cocky to challenge a Borsalino Angora, but it looks like it would make serious contender.

Humm...never thought of it like that but i might have to do a side-by-side comparison of the two. Guess i’ll have to dust off my empiric morphological writing skills.

Stratton Sheriff, a stiff and rugged work hat:

I’ve been giving this Flechet velour a slow stretch from 7 1/2 to 7 5/8. I was going to flip it but I loved the hand of the velour so much I couldn’t let it go.

I’ve had 8s and 81s. They’re heavy but they are also pieces of mechanical art. I’m without one in my collection at this time having traded my last off years ago.
