Pocket Holster

Thanks Jim, it stays in the pocket of blue jeans, but nothing loose. I put the strip of rough out and lacing to give it a little better purchase in pocket. I also have single layer rough out holsters that stay in place better. None are fast on the draw, but I give the edge to my holsters that are rough out but smooth inside. Not very pretty though.

I think that brings a valid point. I believe it has more to do with the pocket and the weapon than the holster. A 380 in tighter jeans pocket needs a less engineered holster than a 38 in loose khakis

How did we go from pocket holsters to the tragedy in Florida..?? I don't see a post even mentioning that in this thread except for the later link. The word 'sad' showed up out of the blue and was repeated several times. Odd to say the least.....

I don’t know. The pocket holster I have is based on a 1920’s original. Nothing to do with the Florida shooting

I didn’t intend to introduce politics here nor will I. There are enough other boards that focus on that.

I guess that is what happened since none of the posters that typed 'sad' will give any explanation. Must be a few *** haters that relate any mention of ***s or even *** accessories to a tragedy perpetrated by a wacko.

Haters is a strong term and given the international nature of this forum I would prefer to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. In my experience people from other countries such as, as an example, England, without a strong history of private ownership of firearms for personal defense and a current exposure to the same, don’t really understand us. But then again many Americans seeing the sheer number of Europeans killed by their own governments in the past 100 years can’t understand the folly of depending on a government to secure their safety.

Time for a little laugh? Thought I would lighten things up! This probably doesn't qualify as a holster, but I made it to protect my mini revolver. It fits in small cell phone pockets and the holster actually works well. It completely encloses the revolver, but because of the deep cut, when a finger is inserted it slides out easily. It is also lined with smooth, soft leather. More of a novelty than anything else.
