Churchill Beaver "50"

Not sure what I'm going to do with it. I've never owned a Churchill before, and I don't know what the hat feels like. Fodder for a conversion? Does anyone out there have this hat who can tell me more?

Any 7 3/4 fur felt hat for under $30 is hard to pass up.

Churchill from this time period was a made by Resistol. You got one heck of a deal on a great hat. I think you will be impressed with the quality of the felt. Congrats!

Thank you. This hat was superb in every way except one...it turned out to be a size 7 3/8. I have since found it a home and I hope the new owner (a fellow Lounger) posts photos when he receives it. I'm hoping that karma puts another hat in my path.
