If true, that's a pretty good endorsement for Brooks.

Nice jacket, I know it from eBay but it's actually just a straight on Brimaco repro. With an added furry stripe. The originals were often just as nice.

Sometimes I actually believe there are other cool jacket styles out there but then I see photos like this and I know there's only the cafe racer leather jacket...

I just picked this off the “bay”. It was advertised as a vintage 60s brooks gold label cafe racer buckle back...but I have never seen this style before... lend me a hand and give me your opinions...yes it is VERY wrinkly ... looking for a remedy for this too

Thanks for the input. I thought the strap placements were funny. Hopefully they can be removed without too much damage.

Not a bad idea but horribly executed. Incredible they stitched it over the back fold... And why is it reaching so far forward? Luckily, it should be easily removable. I mean, it's gonna leave stitch holes but even that's better than these straps. Beautiful jacket, otherwise. Just a very nice yellow tag Brooks.

As for the wrinkles, it's very hard to get them out. Impossible, in some cases. People will recommend steaming the jacket or ironing it. I've tried all that and it didn't help a whole lot. Getting the jacket soaked and wearing it wet should help but... You have to wear it wet.
