I like their Three Blind Mice but that's probably the only other brew I've had except for ****.

LOL! At the saloon where I drink that has it on tap we stay PG & call it Mother's Milk so no one gets offended. I have no idea why the brewery chose that particular nomenclature.

Had more on tap tonight. This is so good I want to put some of this away in the cellar before the season is over!

Yours is probably better! I've never had 7 Siete Leguas or any Casa Siete Leguas product that I can recall. I'm going to have to try some. But I do like the strong flavor of Sauza Conmemorativo & the bourbon cask influence.

7 leguas is not even common in Mexico, even when it is very popular in the state of Jalisco, were tequila, charros and mariachi music are from, so it is the most mexican state in Mexico.

I live in Guadalajara, right in the middle of the tequila valley, 30 minutes from Tequila Magical Town.

7 Leguas is made in Atotonilco el Alto, on the highlands, about 90 minutes from Guadalajara, semi dry weather with red-rust colored soil, thus combo gives highland tequila a strenght that other tequilas lack, but it is still soft and easy to drink neat.

A family that are some of my best friends owns the property by the side of the 7 Leguas Hacienda, so we get that stuff from the source, this guys get lemons, limes and oranges from their farm and God those go so well along with 7 Leguas.

I like it blanco, that's the,most pure way to drink it, not even 1 minute in a barrel, most of the tequileros or tequila makers drink it that way, if it can be drank blanco, with no aging or mixing it must be the real deal.

Well now I am salivating ja ja ja !!

Chamuco, thanks for the education! It sounds like it might be hard to find in the States but I am sure I have seen the blanco with the blue label on the shelves of better liquor stores. I will look because I do want to try some blanco. I do drink the Sauza neat, sometimes with a few ice chips spooned in; no fruit because of the bourbon flavor from the cask.

What is a good Mezcal? I bought some 100% agave once or twice, can't recall the brand but it wasn't Monte Alban (only brand I can think of). I killed off a few thousand brain cells with that stuff!

I've only ordered the Yamazaki 12 a few times by the drink; haven't bought a bottle yet. I remember it was oily in the glass but had a nice dry wine like finish. I liked it, just never got around to bringing any home. I understand they have several different bottlings out now including an oak series. Let us know your likes & impressions about it. Enjoy!
