Here is a cuban sportcoat; I wouldn't be surprised if this once came from a suit.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Fantastic coat, resortes. To me it looks classically 30-40's... fabric, chest pocket, button stance, waist suppression... everything.
Except the lapels and collar... I'd venture a guess and say it was trimmed down (with new lapel buttonhole) during the late 50's or 60's.

(or some mixture of wool / cotton / linen ).
Well done. That is certainly a very unusual one. Your first Japanese suit, I presume?
I read your blog: how bad are the paint marks?
